In Brussels, we enjoyed our stay at the Radisson Sas, Rue du Fosse-aux-Loups 47, Tel: 32-2-219-28-28; Fax: 32-2-219-62-62. A contemporary hotel, built around the old wall of the city, it has a superb Health Club, with ample treadmills, steps and Cxybex machines - as well as an extremely helpful staff.

For those who prefer an Art Nouveau hotel, we can recommend the 100 year old Metropole, 31 Place de Brouckere, Tel: 32-2-548-40-80, Fax: 32-2-218-0220. Recently restored, the Art Nouveau style is quite striking.
